Heat the oil in 2 pans (or one batch at a time--don't crowd the shrimp because it will cause it to steam rather than sautee).
Add pepper flakes for 30 seconds.
Add shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
Near the end of the cooking period for the shrimp, add garlic to the pan.
Once shrimp is done, stir with garlic briefly and remove from pan.
Give yourself a high five and enjoy!
