Gingerbread Latte Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c coffee beans , ground coarsely for the french press
  • boiling water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 c molasses
  • 16 oz steamed milk (dairy, almond, coconut)
  • Whip cream and cinnamon sprinkles on top optional

Instructions

  • Heat water in tea kettle (or however you normally would).
  • Add coffee, spices, and molasses to french press.
  • Once water is almost boiling, pour into the french press, stir, and cover with lid and leave for 5 minutes.
  • While coffee is steeping, heat/froth your milk.
  • Push down french press plunger.
  • Pour coffee in cups 1/2-2/3 full.
  • Add steamed milk and top with foam, whipped cream (optional), and sprinkle with cinnamon.
